For Those We Love in CarCanMadCarLan |

Having been voted to the position of President of the CarCanMadCarLan-USA for the next two years, 2007-2008, I am honored to accept the confidence that my fellow Carcanmadcarlanons have placed on me. On behalf of the newly elected officers, I would like to greet all Carcanmadcarlanons around the world and welcome all visitors to our website with a warm and heartfelt Mabuhay! Since our inception some 15 years ago, so much has happened and changed both here in the USA, in our beloved Carcanmadcarlan and in the whole world for that matter. One thing has not changed, however; our longing for our native towns, family members, relatives, friends and former neighbors. This longing is the one thing that drives us to keep this organization going so that the flame that links us back to our roots will continue to burn. The need to share whatever fortunes and blessings we have with our kababayans back home has become one of the foundations that help fuel the relentless dedication of our membership to support numerous projects in one way or another. We recognize that every little bit of help is valuable and combining resources and the organization’s strength and expertise are essential in every undertaking for a successful and positive outcome. We have been successful in our efforts in the past and we can only move forward from here on. We have resolved to continue supporting existing projects such as the college scholarship program and support new efforts for the benefit of the five towns as well as our fellow Carcanmadcarlanons in the USA in their times of need. We do have a big challenge ahead of us, and we encourage everyone to send us any idea, big or small, to support our organization’s efforts and join us in all of our social and civic functions.
